Sir Elton John is to feature on a new coin created by The Royal Mint.
The music legend will be featured on a £1,000 gold coin in an effort t celebrate his musical legacy.
Sir Elton John said it was a “fabulous honour” and a “humbling milestone”
The coin will feature Sir Elton’s glasses and a straw hat, BBC News reports.
The cheapest coins have a face value of £5 selling for £13 while a one-kilo gold proof coin has a face value of £1,000 - though it is priced at £68,865.
A one-off coin will be sold at auction to raise money for the Elton John Charitable Trust.
