And finally… safety first

Ottawa police have reported that a man accused of robbing a bank last week followed physical distancing protocols before attempting to rob the branch.

And finally... safety first

The man allegedly slipped the bank teller a note demanding cash in a bank located on the city’s Rideau Street.

Police were called to the scene at around 11.30am after the robber left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, CTV News reports.

Police said the suspect waited in line outside the bank, per coronavirus protocols, before making the alleged demand once inside.
