An expert in porn valuation told a court that the destroyed collection was probably worth $30,441.54 (around £22,139), MLive.com reports.

A judge in Michigan, USA this week ordered the parents of 43-year-old David Werking to pay him the full sum plus $14,519.82 (around £10,560) to his attorney.

Mr Werking left the porn stash at his parents’ house after he moved in with them following a divorce.

He expected the collection of rare adult films to be sent to him after he moved out, but his father said he had done him “a big favour getting rid of all this stuff”.
