A surprisingly considerate bank robber left and came back after he was reminded to wear a face mask when walking into his target.
The man approached a bank clerk on Saturday afternoon but was told he needed to wear a mask as a COVID-19 precaution.
He then left and returned a short time later with a mask on, at which point he allegedly handed the clerk a demand note.
After being handed an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the California bank on foot and has yet to be caught.
Police have launched an appeal for members of the public to help identify the man, Village News reports.
