A lawyer who inadvertently broadcast himself having sex with his client to a bemused judge in an online court hearing has been disbarred for life.
Héctor Cipriano Paredes Robles, a criminal lawyer in Peru, apparently believed the court was in recess and thought his camera was turned off.
In clear view to the judge, court staff and other parties, he stripped off and began to have sex with a witness in the gang-related case, The Times reports.
Judge John Chachua Torres stopped the hearing and condemned Mr Robles for having “lacked the honour and dignity of the profession”.
Mr Robles’ “obscene acts” were also condemned by his local bar association.
